For the seventh consecutive year, “Big Deal” project is gathering the best students of law faculties in Serbia, including for the past three years students from other countries of South East Europe. This year, teams from Belgrade and Kragujevac in Serbia will compare their knowledge and skills to those of teams from Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia.
Through a realistic simulation of sale-purchase transaction, students gain an invaluable opportunity to approach and resolve real legal and practical issues occurring in commercial setting.
This year the case study was released on September 20 when the students received preparatory materials and when the work with mentors and teams has begun. The participants in “Big Deal” project are required to submit their drafts by November 20, after which the competition will be held on November 30 and December 1 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
JPM Janković Popović Mitić partners Mr. Nenad Popović and Mr. Nikola Poznanović delivered lectures to students of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and the University of Kragujevac Faculty of Law on October 10, focusing on legal analysis of a company, negotiation process and drafting of key contracts.
