The annual Big Deal competition organised by TLA (Top –Tier Legal Adriatic, www.toptierlegal.org has officially started on May 29 at JPM Janković Popović Mitić offices in Belgrade.
The competition will see top law students from across the region tackling an M&A (mergers and acquisition) transaction case-study, entirely modeled on real M&A practice.
On the occasion, JPM Senior Partner Nenad Popović and Senior Associate Anja Šakan delivered an introductory lecture to participating students titled ‘Being a lawyer: profession and lifestyle’, reflecting also in broad terms on nature and procedural aspects of a typical M&A transaction.
