JPM partner Jelena Nikolić, head of Labor and Employment department presented provisions of the Law on agency employment that refer to the procedure of determining “comparative” employee, actions to be performed in case there is no “comparative” employee, conditions for engagement of employees via agencies, as well as obligations and liabilities of the employer and the agency.
Bojana Stanić, state secretary, as well as Ivana Nikolić and Danijela Rajković, representatives of the competent ministry explained reasons for rendering the Law on agency employment, as well as the procedures of establishing the agencies and obtaining of licenses, the procedures of employment termination of employees engaged via an agency, matters related to safety and health at the workplace and collective rights of the agency employees.
After the discussion, the state secretary, Bojana Stanić, pointed out the significance of the information provided to the Ministry by the employers and the agencies regarding the interpretation and implementation of the law.
