Work Highlights:
- Advising Jadar Lithium Limited, a publicly listed Australian mining company, on the process of raising additional funds to explore and develop mining projects in Serbia. We conducted a thorough legal due diligence process of the projects, initially advising the client on the legal status of Centurion Metals, which would become its subsidiary company through acquisition, and its exploration rights in Serbia. We thus became the first known Serbian law firm to produce a legal report included in fund raising documentation lodged with the regulatory authorities in Australia.
- Advising Raiden Resourced Limited, a publicly listed Australian mining company, in the process of raising additional funds to explore and develop mining projects through its acquisition of the Western Australian-based Timok Resources, the parent company of Serbian companies Kingstown Resources and Skarnore Resources. We provided a detailed legal report that was included in fund raising documentation lodged with the regulatory authorities in Australia.
- Representing Srbijagas, the state-owned gas distribution company, in obtaining mining permits for operating underground gas storage facilities. We advised on mining permit regulations and procedures, underground gas storage being classified as a mining facility.
- Advising RHI AG, Austria, on the privatisation of Magnohrom (a mining company focused on magnesite deposits), including due diligence on land titles, exploration and exploitation rights.
