The new Law on General Administrative Procedure enacted on February 29, 2016, entered into force on March 9, 2016. In enacting this Law the legislator was motivated by the need to improve administrative legislation in keeping with European standards. One of the legislator’s principal motives was to adapt public administration to the needs of the citizens, providing the necessary services and guaranteeing their quality and accessibility.
