JPM & Partners provided full legal services throughout the acquisition process, including due diligence, negotiations of the share purchase agreement, and regulatory approvals. The firm’s lawyers advised Big Bang on all aspects of Serbian law related to the transaction.
The JPM team was led by Partners Jelena Stanković Lukić and Nikola Poznanović.
With this acquisition, the Big Bang Group continues its expansion in the region after acquiring the Croatian company Sancta Domenica last year. After the takeover, the entire group will have nearly 700 employees, in a market with a total population of 16 million, with plans to generate over half a billion euros in revenue by 2028.
The deal still needs to be approved by the relevant agencies for the protection of market competition, the companies announced. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
