JPM is proud that Intersport has decided to engage the JPM GDPR team lead by Partner Ivan Milosevic with JPM Senior Associate Andrea Cvetanovic and accompanied by prof. dr Gojko Grubor who is the expert for information technology and risk assessment, to advise and assist Intersport S Trgovina doo (https://www.intersport.rs/ ) to comply with its business activities with the Serbian Data Protection Act. This engagement is only one part of coordinated efforts of Intersport Group to implement GDPR best standard practices throughout the SEE region, that is to perform an integrated risk assessment of information security and impact of processing activities on personal data (“Assessment”) and to implement adequate organizational and technical measures into the real system.
With the tools to perform data mapping and Assessment, developed by JPM, the JPM GDPR Team promotes substantial implementation of GDPR and the Serbian Data Protection Act. Content of privacy notices, data transfer agreements, and internal documents of controllers/processors must be based on findings/recommendations contained in data mapping and Assessment. Implementation of drafted documents is not only complex and time-consuming but it also requires coordinated efforts from management, key employees, and profound guidance of the advisors.
