The amendments enable harmonization of domestic legislation with those of the European Union, ensure the safety of energy and energy supplies and, enable the introduction of new participants in the energy market. The changes to the law create the legal basis for the adoption of an Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan and further regulate and expand the powers of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia.
