4th JPM Data Protection Conference April 11th 2025
Montenegro – Accession to EU vs GDPR and What Does GDPR Mean for Public and Private Entities?
Our traditional international data protection conference is scheduled:
April 11th 2025 in Podgorica, Montenegro
The conference is organized in the context of ongoing efforts of Western Balkans societies to join the EU and accordingly necessity to pass data protection exams on their way to EU. On its way to accession to the EU, i.e. mandatory harmonization of legislation, Montenegro is to enact new Law on Personal Data Protection by the end of this year, that is complied with GDPR. The new law will introduce a set of obligations for private and public legal entities. We are thrilled to announce that we obtained the presence of leading representatives of European and Montenegrin regulators and private companies to facilitate the implementation of acquis communautaire in the region.
