Serbia Chapter in the Public-Private Partnership Law Review.

This is the 3rd set of information that we provide on four laws on mining and energy, that have been adopted by the Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. Our Senior Partner Dr Jelena Gazivoda, with Partner Nikola Djordjevic and Senior Associate Marko Mrdja give insight into amendments to the Law on Energy.

The Assembly of the Republic of Serbia enacted 4 laws in the field of mining and energy, including two new laws – the Law on the Use of Renewable Energy Sources and the Law on Energy Efficiency.

We are delighted to announce that, for the fourth consecutive year, JPM Senior Partner Dr Jelena Gazivoda has been awarded IFLR1000 Women Leaders for 2021., among the most experienced lawyers in the jurisdiction.

The law has been in application as of 2 February 2021 and it does not introduce the reporting requirements of the Archive Book for the first time, since this obligation existed before.
