On May 12, 2016, JPM in cooperation with German-Serbian Association (DSW) organized seminar under title “Where is the Border between Employees’ Privacy and Legitimate Interest of Employers”. The purpose of seminar was to organize interactive and multi-disciplinary discussions about latest challenges in regard to employees’ privacy in Europe as well as tendencies in this field in Serbia.
The intention of JPM was that the seminar should contribute to building of standards and procedures related to defining and implementation of work discipline which may affect employees’ privacy., i.e. to implementation of data protection standards when employers process employees’ personal data. The seminar was attended by 45 participants.
The special guests/speakers at seminar were Ms Persida Jovanovic, a judge in Court of Appellation (Labour Disputes Division), and Ms Nevena Ruzic, Deputy General Secretary at the Commissioner’s Office. Ivan Milosevic, Jelena Aleksic and Vanja Jovanovic , Senior Associates in JPM were coordinators and speakers at seminar.
